WE CREATE TOGETHER | BROOKLYN’S CHILDREN MUSEUM

I created “The Brightest Future Is the One We Create” as part of ArtRink: A Note to Our Future, an exhibition presented by the Brooklyn Children’s Museum. The project invited artists to share messages of inspiration and possibility for the next generation, transforming the museum’s outdoor ice-skating rink and surrounding windows into a public art installation.

The piece centers around the idea that the future is something we actively shape together. Through playful imagery of young figures floating, flying, and imagining new worlds, the illustration celebrates creativity, curiosity, and the limitless potential of young people.

Installed on the exterior windows surrounding the rink, the artwork became part of the environment for families, children, and visitors moving through the space during the winter season. The message was intended to encourage young viewers to see themselves as creators of the world they want to live in.

Through this work, I wanted to create something joyful and affirming — a reminder that imagination, collaboration, and creativity are powerful tools for building the future.
